SlicerMan Saga

Many, many, many years ago,
on a dark and stormy night, Mrs. Smith took her young son to a Little King restaurant to expose him to other foods and cultures of the civilized world. He was amazed by the tables and chairs and linoleum floor! To see who his mother was speaking to across the counter, he reached up and grasped the edge and pulled himself up. As Fate would have it, at that moment, lightning struck the power lines to the building and created a teriffic power surge in the electrical system. As the young boy's head appeared above the counter, a bolt of electricity shot from the ancient Berkel slicing machine and struck the young boy on the cheek. As the lights went out, so did the memory of the incident in the boy's mind.

As time passed and the boy becomes a young man, he tries his hand at many jobs, not finding any that pleased him. That is, until that fateful day in June of '74, when he was hired to make sandwiches at The Hungry Hobo. He felt a strange tingling sensation as he approached that ancient Berkel slicing machine and felt an incredible surge of power as he placed his hands upon it. The rest of the story, as they say, is history!
